Our first subject was mind vs body. I started with drawing what came to mind when thinking about this subject. For me my mind can be very chaotic and thoughts go through my head. I made a drawing of it and this is what came out
These are drawings I made for a previous project. They are about anxiety that I also linked to my body map that I started with this project
After a lot of discussing and research we figured we wanted to make a short film about the body and insecurity. The goal of the film would be to make people aware of what their body is capable of and that they should value their body working over what it looks like in context of beauty standarts
On my instagram story I asked if anyone was interested in cooperating in this project. We wanted to film and interview people for our short but we later got feedback that its easy to objectify. We had to really think about our audience and our personal connection to this project

Drawings / getting started with the topic
We eventually decided to go make poster as our previous idea (a short film) was a bit too ambitious and complex for the time that we had left. We started with taking pictures that we would rotoscope
The goal of the poster is to bring awareness to the fact that we (from the female perspective) change our posture and attitude for society. We all had a moment where we tuck in our tummy to seem smaller. These posters show these examples of adjustment to these norms. They show that it' s normal and that you' re not the only one who does this. It's a comforting message to sometimes let go of these expectations and be yourself.

Body map
I am very interested in the connection between body and mind. I myself am a very positive down to earth person but when I started with the meditation for this project, I found that my body often feels different that what I tell myself. I often say that I' m okkey, trying to calm myself down or make myself feel better. But often my body just doesn' t feel like that. I do believe that with thoughts and mindset you can influence your bodies health.
Thoughts
At one point we stumbled uppon manifestation. It has to do with the mind and body since you create your own reallity to accomplish what you desire. This is connected to the concept heal tries to explain. The more your thoughts and mindset are in a positive enery/vibration to what you want, the better the outcome will be

During this project we struggeled a bit with finding a subject that would be interesting for the whole group. After a lot of meetings, discussing and research we got to a nice concept. Here you can see the research I did along the way
