No crying at the dinner table

For me the movie is about the regret. Something we can all relate to. When the characters are talking about their own personal trauma we can see close ups on their bodies as if they're exposing themselves.
The title I think says that often the dinner table is a symbol of house rules. It's a symbol of a "good functioning family" or at least this is something I associate it with. But the truth is that this is a very toxic rule. And you can see that after the questions, when each of the members look like they just stopped carrying a big burden on their shoulders.

biological standard beauty doesn't exist!

If we don't like someone we'll see them as ugly

attractivness - how people make you feel good=why you're attracted to them

If you want to be more attractive, try to work on your self confidence, instead of investing in new nails, diet, make up etc.

WHY THOSE EXAMPLES ARE WRONG:

big question: in the time of social media and short attention, how can you show your confidence before someone judges you on strictly how you look?

why we are drawn to confident people?

Because they seem like they can take care of us

ideas:

we ask people to describe how they look and if they say anything negative we put that into the "negative human" and the other way around

how we perceive ourselves (in a negative way)

FEEDBACK
NEW IDEA (AFTER THE FEEDBACK)
We create a series of posters where we show how our body looks like when we're alone. Then we use an app where we see an animation with the body changing depending on who's looking. we see how the posture/facial expression changes etc.

While searching for a "home look women" in google this is the photos that popped up:
This is completely not true. Even google thinks that when women are by themselves they need to keep this "pretty" look
NEW IDEA:
WE CAN MAKE A SERIES OF POSTERS THAT SHOW WOMEN IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS (AN OBVIOUS FAKE PORTRAIT) AND THEN USE THE APP TO SHOW THE REALITY? HOW WOMEN ARE ACTUALLY CHANGING WHEN NOONE IS LOOKING
Reflection:

After narrowing down our subject to perception, my instant thought was how observed I feel all the time by other people. It is something that I constantly worry about and adjust my body accordingly. First I thought it had to do with the attraction but I think the issue goes deeper. I know in my case I care too much about how others perceive me. I think this is something we got so used to that we don't think about it anymore. I'd compare myself to water– depending on the vessel, I adjust accordingly. The vessel in this case are:people, surroundings, situations, expectations.
The biggest question in our project is what we want to communicate thorugh it. I think our goal is to make people realise it. There's nothing wrong with us not following the "norms" at all times even in front of people Because we all do it. (by we I mean women)
